Forex: EUR/JPY closer to 96.00 - NASDAQ
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - After reaching 96.50 low yesterday, the EUR/JPY tried to regain the 97.00 psychological level during the Asian session. Failure sent the pair to a massive plunge lower, below yesterday's support to current low at 96.17.
Global economic slowdown is scaring investors, finding safe haven at the JPY as China, Germany, EMU, among others, manufacturing PMI leave little options for the market. The cross is now quoting at November 2000 prices and targets 96.00 key line.
Mataf.net analysts point to 97.1, 97.4 and 97.95. On the downside, supports might be found at 96.50, 96.20 and 95.60.
